Connecticut shooting tragedy
A horrible story breaks in Connecticut today when a man entered a Manchester beer warehouse and began shooting. Police Lt. Christopher Davis
says Omar Thornton a driver who had been asked to resign his position is among the nine dead. Thornton first shot and killed eight co-workers before turning the gun on himself and committing suicide. Two more victims are injured but are expected to live.
Thornton who was black has had a relative step forward and say he had complained of racial bias. Thornton had been caught on videotape stealing beer, a union official claims.
Teamsters Local 1035 official Christopher Roos says Thornton was "a disgruntled employee who shot a bunch of people."
