Agency Dumps Mel Gibson
After Assault / Death Threat Charges are Filed
The William Morris Endeavor Entertainment has parted ways with their long time client,
troubled actor Mel Gibson. The decision comes within days of allegations againt Gibson, stating
that he assaulted and threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend.
In addition, longtime William Morris / Mel Gibson agent, Ed Limato, died early this month. Ed had worked with
Gibson for more than
thirty years.
Previously, agency partner, Ari Emanuel, expressed a distaste for the actor after Gibson made drunken, anti-semitic remarks during
a DUI arrest in '06.
The latest rant in the actor's historic downfall comes from a phone conversation where Gibson says more
racist remarks while
berating his ex-girlfriend.
