Van Halen is trending due to an expected album and tour in 2011. The rumors come from the recent publishing deal
Eddie and Alex Van Halen extended with longtime partners Warner / Chappell Music. These indicators suggest the
band is currently recording a new album with original vocalist David Lee Roth.
Billboard Magazine is reporting that on a Live Nation earnings conference call, Van Halen was said to be touring in 2011. The news was most
likely mentioned, as good news, in response to a lackluster year for the concert giant, who has damn-near monopolized the
entire music industry. In 2008, the Van Halen reunion (minus bassist Michael Anthony) tour grossed over $93 million and played to almost one million fans.
This will be the first Van Halen / Roth album in more than twenty-five years.
