The Vanilla Ice Project
Stop. Collaborate, and listen.
He's back. Again. But we can all rest easy now, there is no new music. Since his foray in metal in the mid-nineties, a
brief stint with competitive jet skiing, and an appearance in 2004 in reality television, Mr. Ice has his own show. Don't act
surprised, apparently Robbie Van Winkle picked up a very unique set of skills in his career, the least of which is not remodeling
houses. Thats right the DIY Network has picked up a show with Van Winkle as the star entitled "Vanilla Ice Project" for a run of 10
shows airing in October. Vanilla's first project will involve the renovation of a 7,000 square foot, 9 bedroom home.
"Over the last 15 years, Rob [Vanilla Ice] has taught himself the basics of home improvement through hands-on experience,"
said representatives for DIY. "In each episode, Rob demonstrates his vast knowledge in home renovation... He calls the shots in this
room-by-room makeover series, exposing an entirely new side of the star -- one that his fans never have seen before."
I can't wait to watch him spend more money. Where is Andy Warhol when you need him? Vanilla Ice gets 30 minutes
